Project Engineer, fulltime
to expand our Application Engineering team in Spain. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an important contribution to our strategic objectives.
Location and team:
Our Spanish office is located in Alcobendas, (Community of Madrid). The Application Engineering team in Alcobendas provides technical services to edilon)(sedra subsidiaries around the world. There is a lot of knowledge and experience within the team and this helps you in your induction period.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Our ideal new colleague will assist our Project Manager(s) and project team with project documentation and control, task assignment, scheduling and preparation of deliverables. You should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing the completion of those tasks. Competences such as time management, progress monitoring, persuasiveness, customer focus (internally / externally) and good oral and written expression skills are important for this position.
Qualifications you preferably have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Engineer.
- Experience in general construction or railway industry will be highly appreciated.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCad knowledge will be appreciated.
- Strong writing skills for drafting reports, memo’s, minutes of meetings and procedures.
- An excellent knowledge and command of the Spanish and English language, other languages will be highly appreciated.
- A strong orientation toward quality and compliance.
